The Deniz Y’drim Mission Charity Foundation was born out of a grassroots effort to support a local Muslim community in constructing a modern mosque.
Motivated by this impact, the team extended their
efforts to address other critical challenges, including the lack of clean
water, poor sanitation, limited access to education, and the need for
economic empowerment. These efforts led to the implementation of rainwater
harvesting system, the construction of a lined pit latrine, the distribution of scholastic
materials, and the provision of skill-enhancing tools like sewing machines.
In response to the growing scope of activities and in honor of a co-founder
(DENIZ YILDRIM) who passed away, MUGISHA FRANK took the lead in formalizing the initiative into a
registered non-governmental organization.
Today, Deniz Y’drim Mission Charity Foundation remains committed to
advancing faith-based development, access to education, healthcare, skills
training, women empowerment, and child development, all guided by the
values of compassion, inclusion, and service.

The Kabegaramire Mosque project was a life-changing initiative for the local Muslim community. Before the mosque was built, the community members were praying in a rented mini-room. Today, they have a beautiful, permanent mosque where they can gather for prayers and community events. "This mosque has brought us together and strengthened our faith," says one of the community elders.
In the village of Kabegaramire, the installation of a clean water supply system has drastically reduced cases of waterborne diseases. "Our children used to fall sick all the time, but now they are healthy and can go to school regularly," shared a grateful parent.
Zainab, a young girl from Katefunza B, received a tailoring machine through our Women’s Empowerment program. With the skills she acquired, Zainab started her own tailoring business and now supports her family independently. "This program changed my life. I can now provide for my family and even pay school fees for my siblings," she says with pride.

Mugisha is responsible for strategic planning, project management, and ensuring the successful implementation of all foundation initiatives. His hands-on approach and deep connection to the communities we serve make him an invaluable leader of the foundation.
Director Finance and Co-Founder – Germany
Enes oversees budgeting, financial reporting, and donor fund management. He ensures that all donations are utilized effectively to maximize impact and sustainability across all our operations.

With a background in community development and social work, Waidha brings a wealth of experience in designing and managing programs that address the needs of vulnerable populations.Their expertise in grassroots mobilization and community engagement is crucial to the success of our initiatives.
